Second Sunday Supper Club was created and founded by Gigi, a food lover and amateur dinner party host.

Originally from the UK, I’ve been a resident of Madrid for the past 12 years. After over a decade of living in the same city, it became harder to foster true connections with new people, but I always found that around the dinner table was where the most intimate conversations were happening. After all, food is quite often what brings people together the most.

Second Sunday Supper Club is about meeting new people and leaving the table with a full belly and a stimulated mind. I want to give our community the welcoming environment I yearned for when I first moved to a new city, and enable both guests and hosts alike to explore diverse tastes and embrace the joys of thoughtful and curated dinner parties.

And don’t be fooled by the name - dinner parties aren’t just for Sundays.
